ST. PAUL, Minn. — It was the breakers that eventually broke the Saint Mary's University women's tennis team Saturday afternoon.
The Cardinals had two of their three doubles matches against Macalester go to a tiebreaker, while two of the six singles matches also had a tiebreaker — and the Scots went 3-1 in those four matches in handing SMU a 6-3 Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference setback at the Macalester Outdoor Courts.
