The 15 strikeouts breaks the old mark of 14, initially held by Charity Rowden on April 6, 2007, and equaled by Simacek earlier this year against Gustavus. … Simacek has been the workhorse of the six-person BU pitching staff, logging 86.0 innings. The sophomore boasts a 10-4 record and 1.47 ERA in 16 appearances.
