WINONA, Minn. — The Saint Mary's University men's tennis is set for a busy home weekend, as the Cardinals host Morningside (noon) and Luther (6 p.m.) in nonconference matches on Saturday, before entertaining Concordia (9 a.m.) in an MIAC showdown on Sunday. All three matches will take place at the Winona Tennis Center.

SMU vs. Luther — Their Last Meeting:
February 4, 2012: Bobby Steingraeber (La Crosse, Wis.) teamed with Michael Lunka (Eagan, Minn.) for an 8-6 win at No. 1 doubles, then added a 6-3, 6-4 victory at No. 2 singles to account for SMU's two wins in the Cardinals' 7-2 nonconference loss vs. the high-powered Norse at the Winona Tennis Center.

SMU vs. Concordia — Their Last Meeting:
April 20, 2013: It was Senior Day at the Winona Tennis Center, so it was only fitting that seniors led the Caridnals to a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference victory over Concordia. Seniors Michael Lunka (Eagan, Minn.), Bobby Steingraeber (La Crosse, Wis.) and Sam Puff (Eden Prairie, Minn.) all picked up wins in singles and doubles to lead the Cardinals to a 7-2 MIAC win over the Cobbers.

Following this weekend's matches vs. Morningside, Luther and Concordia, the Cardinals hit the road on Thursday, traveling to the University of Minnesota Baseline Tennis Center in Minneapolis, Minn., for a 4:30 p.m. conference match against Hamline. … Morningside is off until March 29, when the Mustangs travel to Freemont, Neb., for a 3 p.m. match against Concordia (Neb.). … Luther returns to the court on March 24, when the Norse kick off their five-match spring trip to Orlando, Fla., with a 9 a.m. match against Carthage. … Concordia returns home on Saturday, hosting Northwestern in a 3 p.m. nonconference matchup.
