The Eagles closed out the fall portion of their schedule going 9-2 in their final 11 matches — including a run of eight-straight victories. … Five of Edgewood's 11 wins were 9-0 victories, while two of the Eagles' four losses were 9-0 shutouts. … Shae Beckwith and Laura Olsen teamed to reach the doubles final at last fall's Northern Athletics Conference Individual Tournament. The duo dropped a 9-7 decision in the championship match en route to earning All-NAC honors. … Beckwith and Kristen Boone enter the spring portion of the schedule having gone 10-5 in singles play this season. The Saints are coming off a 20-4 season in 2011 in which St. Scholastica was a perfect 10-0 in conference play and won the six-team Upper Midwest Athletic Conference title. … The conference tournament championship was the 15th straight for the Saints, which won all nine flights for the second consecutive year. … St. Scholastica enters the 2012 season without standouts Callee Conda and Danni Sonnenfield.
